Bohemian immigrants, is the term that referred citizens of the United States who are of Czech descent around the 19th and early 20th century. The main reason why so many bohemain immigrants work as cigarmakers is because it was inexpensive to make cigars at that time and it was good payment for their work. Usually a cigarmaker could earn around $11.25 dollars per week, but working as long as 15 hours per day.
