What did the federalists hope the new constitution would give the country?

A federalist is a person who supports a system of government in which several states unite under a central authority. So, the federalists supported constitution.

They hoped that the Constitution would provide rights for people. They wanted a strong government and strong executive branch. They did not wanted a bill of rights as they thought the new constitution was sufficient.
