The slope would be -9/7. Simply do rise over run and since the rise is -9 (one y point to the other) and the run is 7 (one x point to the other)

the slope of the line is -[tex] \frac{9}{7} [/tex]

I used the equation [tex] \frac{ y_{2} - y_{1}}{x_2-x_1} [/tex]

so for this problem, the equation would be [tex] \frac{-3-6}{5+2} = -\frac{9}{7} [/tex]
