Solve: sergey averages 30 miles per gallon of gasoline in his car. how far can he travel on 13 gallons of gasoline?

Basically, all we need to do is multiply the number of gallons by the miles that can be driven with one gallon:
30*13
30*10 + 30*3
300 + 90
390
He can travel 390 miles
